Clearway is a calm, one-tap logic puzzle: slide colorful snakes off a crowded grid until the board is empty. The rules are simple, but the later boards get satisfyingly knotty. Here’s how to play, and how to think, so no tangle stops you.

The rules in 20 seconds

• Every snake points up, down, left, or right.
• Tap a snake to slide it off the edge in the direction it faces.
• A snake can only leave if nothing is blocking its path to the edge.
• Clear the whole board to solve the level.

That’s it. The challenge is entirely about order, which snake do you move first?

Tips for tougher boards

1. Work backwards from what’s blocked. If a snake can’t move, find what’s in its way and free that first. Chains of “this unlocks that” are the heart of every hard level.

2. Move edge snakes early. Snakes already near their exit edge are often free to go immediately, and clearing them opens lanes for the ones behind.

3. Look one move ahead, not ten. You rarely need the whole solution up front. Free the next snake, see what opened up, repeat. Clearway rewards steady planning over guessing.

4. Aim for three stars. Solving a level without hints or wrong taps earns full stars. Once you know the board, replay it clean, it’s a great way to sharpen your planning.
